WHA Multi Academy Trust Christmas Concert

This Christmas Washwood Heath Academy hosted the Multi Academy Trust Christmas Concert. 

The stage was beautifully decorated by R Sturgess Head of Art and N Spooner Head of Music the day before the concert.  With the Y11 Food Technology class baking some delicious Christmas Cupcakes for guests, N Spooner running the sound and E Pugh accompanying the schools on the Piano, it really was a full team effort!

The concert itself was outstanding, with each of the seven schools from the MAT performing Christmas Hits such as Last Christmas by Wham, Jingle Bells, Love Shone Down and Have Yourself A Mery Christmas, as well as 3 Primary group performances which included Santa Clause is Coming to Town and the crowd pleaser Feliz Navidad! 

Hosted by the Trusts Head of Primary Education Ashley Winters, the event was a success, with parents, pupils and staff all expressing how much they enjoyed it!

A wonderful opportunity for schools across the trust to come together, supporting each other and enjoying talent from across the city.
