We were very proud to attend a Department for Work and Pensions Commonwealth Games Relay baton event at Washwood Heath Job Centre.

Ocean Laidlaw-Jarrett , Shamila Shah and Alina Farooq, gave a speech on what the Commonwealth Games means to them as students. They met Liam Byrne MP for Hodge Hill and were given a tour of the centre and how the centre helps people find work. This was part of the local celebrations for the Commonwealth games and we were invited along with Ocean as she will be an official Queens Commonwealth Games Baton Bearer in the run up to the Games in Birmingham this summer!

Well done, Ocean!Download
