Career’s Week at Washwood Heath Academy – Inspiring Futures!

Over the past two weeks, our primary students at Washwood Heath Academy have taken part in an exciting and inspiring Career’s Week. We've welcomed a diverse range of professionals who generously shared their experiences and insights into various careers — helping our children dream big and explore the endless possibilities ahead of them.

Our special visitors included professionals from the fields of medicine, architecture, policing, firefighting, culinary arts, and electrical work. Each guest brought their own unique perspective, sparking curiosity and excitement in our pupils. We were also delighted to be joined by representatives from Barclays Life Skills, who equipped our children with practical, transferable skills relevant to any career path.

It has been a thoroughly enjoyable and enriching experience. Watching our children engage with enthusiasm, ask thoughtful questions, and begin to imagine their own futures has been truly inspiring.
