Last week, 100 students from Years 7 to 10 took part in an unforgettable STEM experience at the Big Bang Fair at the NEC.

On Tuesday, our Year 7 and 8 students got hands-on with drones, robots, go-kart building, and interactive STEM challenges. Thursday saw Year 9 and 10 engaging with experts from Rolls-Royce, Specsavers, and the BBC.

At the SpecSavers stand, students explored eye health through interactive exhibits. The BBC zone gave them a chance to become news presenters and sound engineers. They also took part in radioactivity workshops and watched live demonstrations of bone reconstruction and catheter heart surgery.

The trip offered students a real-world glimpse into exciting science, technology, and engineering careers.

A huge thank you to Ms Sadiq, Ms Akthar, and Ms Yaqub for supporting the visits and to our brilliant students for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and excellent conduct throughout.
