Year 9 Trip to Weston-Super-Mare

On June 24th Our year 9 cohort enjoyed a day out at the beach! After a smooth journey down to Weston, we disembarked from the coach onto a bright but windy beach. We headed straight for the pier to play the arcade games, go-carts and small rides before enjoying some traditional chip-shop chips (avoiding the hungry seagulls!).
After the Pier, we made our way to the beach, which we had all to ourselves! Despite the wind, a wonderful time was had by all.
Going to Weston helps pupils to learn about British Sea-Side culture; Weston-super-Mare has historical and cultural significance as a traditional British seaside town, providing insight into British leisure traditions, architecture, and tourism.
