Year 9 and Year 10 SEND Students Visit DBSUK for Work Experience Insight

Our Year 9 and Year 10 students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) had an exciting opportunity to take part in a Work Experience (WEX) visit to DBSUK at The Waterside Business Park.

The morning included a guided tour of Birmingham’s largest business rental site, as well as engaging presentations from a range of local business owners. These included specialists from Volkswagen, Greidy’s Street Food, and Posh Design Kitchens.

The purpose of the visit was to give students valuable exposure to the world of work, providing insight into how different businesses operate and opening up possibilities for future work experience opportunities.

Our students were enthusiastic, engaged, and thoroughly enjoyed their time at DBSUK.

Well done to all the students for their fantastic participation and Thank You to DBSUK for having us.
