WHA Progress- Above Average!

WHA Progress “Above Average”
We are delighted to share with our community that Washwood Heath Academy is officially classed as “above average” for the government’s Progress 8 performance measure.
In terms of the progress that our students make, this places our school as not only one of the best performing schools in the local area, but also as one of the top 34 schools in the whole of the Birmingham Local Authority (including selective and grammar schools). This is an amazing achievement, and it is a testament to the hard work of our staff and students, alongside the support from our parents and families.
What is a Progress 8 Score?
The academic progress that pupils make from the end of key stage 2 to the end of Key Stage 4. This is based on the 9 qualifications.
The banding for this school or college is 'above average' because the score is greater that 0 but lower than 0.5 and the entire confidence interval is above 0.
WHA Score= 0.19
Confidence Interval= 0.02 to 0.37
