Year 3 and 4 Primary Athletics competition

Seven pupils from across Years 3 and 4 had great fun participating in the School Games athletics competition today. This event took place at Oasis Academy Hobmoor and saw Washwood competing with nine other schools from across Birmingham. Each pupil had the opportunity to take part in a standing long jump, 60m sprint, 400m race, javelin throw and relay races. All the pupils had a great time and demonstrated a real sporting talent across the difference disciplines. Overall, we finished third amassing over 800 points- which was a great achievement.
