Year 9 and Year 12 Duke of Edinburgh Training Expedition

A number of our Year 9 & Year 12 students from the secondary and sixth form phases completed their Duke of Edinburgh Training Expedition around Kingsbury last week. As they set off, the weather looked ominous but they only experienced a few showers in the end, so it was an enjoyable experience for all.

15 miles covered over the two days plus cooking for themselves and putting up their own tents! A great opportunity for pupils to develop their resilience and independence. Well done to all involved, in particular the accompanying members of staff. Bring on the qualifying expeditions next month.
