Y3- Y6 Archery Festival

Today, twelve children across Years 3-6 had the opportunity to take part in an School Games Archery festival. This was held at the prestigious King Edward VI School in Aston and there was 20 schools from across the city taking part. Many of our pupils had no or very little experience in this sport prior to today. All pupils showed great determination and resilience and made fantastic progress in how to successfully hold the bow, load the arrow and aim effectively at different targets. More importantly, all of them had lots of fun and enjoyed participating in a new sport.
