On 4th March a group of 28 year 7 pupils travelled to Boreatton Park for a 2 night residential. The trip was lead by Mrs James, Miss Crosdale and Mr Notice, and was focused on pupils building their independence, communication and leadership skills.

The fun did not stop with the group taking part in Abseiling, high ropes, Archery and even canoeing down the river. In groups, the year 7s also explored the zip wire, trapeze and experienced a range of problem solving activities.

After the evening meal, the pupils gathered to sing around the campfire and enjoy time with their peers. The sun shone throughout the 3 days and the pupils and staff had a wonderful time.

There are opportunities for pupils to take part in residential trips at all phases of the school and this is something we encourage our parents/ carers to look out for.

Well done to the year 7s that attended, they represented the school incredibly well.
