Our Intent: 

At Washwood Heath Academy Primary Phase, we believe that Science is an important life skill and we endeavour to ensure that it is innovative, varied, enjoyable and taught to children in a consistent approach across the whole school. We aim to develop children’s natural curiosity for understanding the world by exploring new concepts practically and applying their knowledge in a variety of ways to deepen their understanding. Curriculum Maestro is designed with the sequence; Introduce, Engage, Develop, Innovate and Express.
