Transition Information

Welcome to Washwood Heath Academy!!

OPEN EVENING - Wednesday 29th September 2021

It will soon be time to choose your Secondary School!!

We look forward to inviting all of our prospective new students and parents in to school for an Open Evening on Wednesday 29th September from 3:30 – 6pm.  After all of the disruption of the past couple of years, it is fantastic to be able to welcome parents back in to school once more.

We’re proud of our school and are looking forward to welcoming you to so that you can see what to expect if you choose to come and join the Washwood Family in Year 7 in September 2022.

Even if you can’t join us in person, we hope that you enjoy our virtual tour (below) and some of the taster lessons that our Secondary phase specialist teachers have put together to give our potential new starters an idea of what to expect when you move up to Secondary school.  Keep scrolling down for lots more information and activities related to transition!
